Prayer Request Section

Prayer Requests allow your church to submit prayer requests directly from your church’s digital bulletin. You can choose what fields you’d like respondents to provide, such as name, email, and phone number, and if you would like respondent to mark if they would like the prayer request to remain private and if they’d like to be contacted.

1. Click on the bulletin you would like to edit. 
2. Drag a "Prayer Request" section on the left into the phone, to add this as a section to your bulletin. 
3. Click on the bulletin phone preview where it says "Prayer Request" to open up and edit this section. 
   • Title allows you to name this section of your bulletin, you may choose something like Submit Prayer Requests. 
   • Body Text allows for you to update the content and provide necessary details about the prayer request form.
   • Select Fields to Include allows you to check what options you would like to appear on the connect card
     • Name provides a text box to collect the name of the person filling out the form. 
     • Email provides a text box to collect the email of the person filling out the form. 
     • Phone number provides a text box to collect the phone number of the person filling out the form. 
     • Address provides a text box to collect the address of the person filling out the form. 
   • Additional Options allows for respondents to indicate if it is Confidential and if they would like to be contacted. Simply check to add them to this section. 
4. Once you set up your connect card select Done Editing to return to the main area of the bulletin. 

Embed a Prayer Request

If you already have a Prayer Request Form set up in another platform you may want to consider embedding that form into Loop!

1. Click on the bulletin you would like to edit. 
2. Drag an "Website" section on the left into the phone, to add this as a section to your bulletin. 
3. Click on the bulletin phone preview where it says "Website" to open up and edit this section. 
   • Title allows you to name this section of your bulletin, you may choose something like Prayer Requests
4. Choose how you would like to embed. 
   • Website allows for you to include a website that you would like to bring into this section, if you have a form on your church website, or built in another platform, you may want to simply put the link to this page on your website here. If you click show preview it will allow you to see how the website will appear. 
   • Embed Code allows for you to paste HTML Code Block that you have copied from another location into your bulletin. This should bring in your embedded from. 
5. When Done, select Done Editing. 

Accessing Responses from Prayer Requests

Note: Prayer Request responses cannot be deleted, but they can be exported from the Responses tab.

To access responses and export from loop: 

1. Sign into Loop
2. In the top bar click on "Responses"
3. Select either the "Prayer Requests" or "Connect Cards" option under Outreach Responses
4. Click "Download Responses" button
5. Choose what range you would like to export.

     • Last 14 Days
     • All
     • Custom (date)Range
       
6. Click "Download"
